Matt Normann took such great care of us. The photography was phenomenal. Matt told us before our ceremony that he doesn't miss much, but upon viewing the shots that he captured, we found that he mis-spoke; he doesn't miss anything! He inconspicuously photographed some angles that made us wonder how he got them. After the ceremony Matt composed set shots for us that were creative and unique, yet formal enough to satisfy some of the more traditional members of our family. After processing the image files and posting a slide-show for us and our guests to preview some of the pictures that he had worked on, more than one friend responded that his pictures were the best wedding pictures that they had ever seen. Truly, Matt captured the mood and the energy, all the little details, and perfectly told the story of our special day.

Having said all that, it was not his photography that made Matt so important to us on our wedding day; it was the little things. When it began to rain, in between snapping pictures, Matt found a fleece jacket to keep my suit, and me, dry. When the officiant was late to our ceremony, Matt offered a pat on the back and some comforting words, and stayed, without having to be asked, to shoot throughout the reception, which ran late. He offered one of his (no doubt very expensive) camera lenses to our best man, to shoot a few pictures with. When the reception was over, and Matt was done taking pictures, we looked around for him, and found him socializing comfortably with our guests.

There are probably dozens of little things that were missing (something I am sure Matt wouldn't do), but we get the main idea: we were extremely lucky to have Matt Normann as the photographer of our wedding. It would not have been the same without him there. We whole-heartedly recommend Matt's services to anyone looking for a photographer.
